At exactly 00:00, tomorrow morning will mark the beginning of a new year. Another new chapter in our life journey will be unleashed. 2017 has been a good year. Reflecting back, I feel like it was a prep year for the success coming in 2018. For me, it was a year that thought me to know my worth, and understand what I want in life. I learned how to let go of the past, how to accept that I have no power to change the past and how to move on from what will never add value or happiness to my personal growth. I am very grateful for the opportunity to have participated in 2017. I know that 2018 is going to be a good year for everyone. Goals and dreams are going to be achieved. I've been super busy with college and work and had no time to sit and write until now! 28 days until another year clocks. Scary isn't it? It seems like 2017 flew by so quickly! As a person who works towards success in life, I took a close look at the lives of people who are ahead of where I want to be. After doing some research on their lives, I found that most of them have one thing in common- their belief in God. It amazes me how they centred God in everything they do, and these are powerful, rich, influential and inspiring people! They all reference God in every single thing in their lives. People often complain that they don't like their job, lifestyle or the way they look. But the only thing stopping you from changing that are your excuses. Hey guys, Long time, I know.  I've been super busy over this summer that I haven't had the chance to actually write a post and update you on how my 30 days change is going.  So, I started off so strong but broke it on the 20 th day, but as the rule applies, miss a day, start all over! So I'll be starting again next week (on the 28 th of August), and I'll defiantly be updating you on what I’ll be doing! But, believe it or not, I've developed some good habits during the start of my 30 days change. One of my aims at the start of the challenge was to start reading the bible. It's just something that I’ve always wanted to do in a VERY long time. Don't get me wrong, I do read the Bible from time to time but it wasn't one of my every day must, and days when I actually decides to sit down and read it, I just don't know where to start and after spending about 15/20 mins turning pages upon pages and reading different verses I just end up closing...

Most of us are stuck in the slow pace rhythm of this world following the daily routine of what society wants us to do.  Sometimes we feel confused and eventually we end up going with "the flow" of life accepting what life offers to us. At times we feel like nothing is changing in our lives and months after months you've begin to adjust to the requirements of life. We no longer take anything into consideration and we loose the focus to achieving our dreams and goals. From time to time we break down and fall apart. At times we don't even know why we've broken down but we just sit at a corner and let our tears do the talking. And when we're done, we wipe the tears off our faces, give ourselves a little bit of time to adjust back into life's rhythm and we walk back into the world and put on a smile, a fake broken smile convincing ourselves that we’ve put enough smile on our faces to make people believe that we are okay. It is very easy to lose focus on what we want.  This often happens when we are discouraged by others and also by ourselves. But, it is very important to know that it is necessary for you as a human being to achieve happiness. It is necessary to achieve your goals, desires, and dreams. It is important that you live your life the way YOU want and not settle for what life gives you. You must also be willing to go the extra mile. Be willing to work for what you want no matter how hard it may seem to be. The harder you work and focus on your goals the more opportunities shows up.  What you focus on and think about is what will come your way. You cannot constantly focus on negative thoughts and expect positive results. Your thoughts are seeds and your minds are fertile land.  The mind doesn't care what you plant in it, it will always yield results. You can plant wealth or you can plan...

Many of us go on a search for happiness, a search to have the happiness that we thought others have. But a lot of people don't really understand what happiness truly means. So we must ask ourselves, "What is happiness?", "Am I  truly happy with my life?", "Am I doing the things that makes me happy?". It is very important to know where your happiness lies and it's very important that you pursue it. Happiness is how good you feel on a day to day basis and also how satisfied you are with your life. It is being absolutely content with yourself,  your life and being focused on the things you have and not the things you don't have. I just want you to know that it's okay not to be okay. It's okay. It's really okay to look sad, feel sad and be sad. But one thing you must remember is that, you must not let it take control of your life. It's your life and you have control over everything you choose to do. Everyone has those days where they feel sad. Some people are able to get up quickly on their feet after a hard fall or a bad day, while it may take others twice as much time. Some also find it hard to get right back on their feet and someway or another sadness, depression or anxious have creeped in and managed to stay. O ne of the most powerful forms of personal growth is self- talk. Many of us don’t know its importance in our everyday life and how it can change the way we think, and the way we live our lives. I recently came across a very inspiring video about self-talk, and the words in the video gave me goose bumps. They are powerful motivational words and I knew I ought to share it with you. The video applies to all areas of life and you can watch it countless times whenever you need a little motivation. I have attached the link to the video at the bottom of this post.
