Choose Happiness!

Many of us go on a search for happiness, a search to have the happiness that we thought others have. But a lot of people don't really understand what happiness truly means. So we must ask ourselves, "What is happiness?", "Am I  truly happy with my life?", "Am I doing the things that makes me happy?". It is very important to know where your happiness lies and it's very important that you pursue it.

Happiness is how good you feel on a day to day basis and also how satisfied you are with your life. It is being absolutely content with yourself,  your life and being focused on the things you have and not the things you don't have. Happiness is when you accept that you are living life to your fullest and appreciating ever breathe that you take and everyone around you.

The amount of money you have and the number of people that are around you can not always define your happiness but it is finding peace within yourself, the world and everyone around you. Connecting with your inner spirit and soul can bring you long lasting happiness. Happiness is not all about going on the search but it's also about acceptance. Accepting who you are as a person and accepting what you have. Happiness is not something we can all wake up to and it's not something we can always have, but it is something that we can program our minds to, because our minds are beyond powerful and we can control what goes in. We as individuals must know that we have the power and the ability to control how happy our lives are. Being completely happy with your life and yourself is not an easy process but it can certainly be achieved.

Being happy doesn’t necessary mean that everything in your life is perfect. No! It simply means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections and reach out for every opportunity that comes your way with open arms. Happiness can be considered as a journey and not a destination. The people that you see that are fully happy with life are those who don't have everything but are contented with what life gives them and cherish it with everything. It is not about finally getting what you want but it is about appreciating what you have. You always have the power to say “this is not how my story ends”. You must create the life you want for yourself. Train your mind to be happy with life and with yourself.

The best kind of happiness is living in the moment. Enjoy every breath that you take and every opportunity that lands on your doorsteps. Do the things that make you happy, surround yourself with people who want the best for you and who encourage you to grow.

In everything you do, you must pursue happiness, joy and freedom. Take life easy. Listen to what the goodness of your heart is telling you and watch how your life changes for the better!

There are countless ways that you can take to be fully happy but the most important ones are mentioned below.
  • Believe you deserve happiness

The first thing in achieving happiness is to believe that you deserve it! Every single human being in this world deserves happiness and no one is excluded! The simple reason why you deserve to be happy and to believe that you deserve it, is because you are still alive! you still have a good shot at life. You deserve to smile, to experience joy, and all the goodness life has to offer. Believe that you deserve happiness, proclaim it to yourself “I deserve to be happy”. Keep saying it daily until you believe it. No one else deserves happiness more than You!


  • Forget the past:
To be truly happy you must let go of the past.  Let go of memories that can't grow you. Accept everything that is happening in your life and look forward to what's to come next. You have to wash your past off of you or you will forfeit your opportunity to go forward.



  • Live and know and feel you are living

Another way to be happy is to work on yourself. Work on your physical and spiritual growth, work on your mind, your dreams and your ambitions. Work on just you and no one else and watch how unexpected happiness lands in your way. Do the things that truly brings happiness to your heart. Go to places that make you happy, spend time with people who bring happiness into your life. Happiness is a choice. You, yes YOU, are the only person who can make you happy, you're as happy as you choose to be! Don't focus too much on being happy because you can easily miss the opportunity that's right in front of you but Instead, learn to live in the moment and enjoy life.

You are responsible for your own happiness. If you don't like where your life is at the moment- work on it and change it! The power is in your hands, your happiness is in your hands. Choose happiness!

  


  • Always be thankful
This is one of the most important points out of the four steps. Put it in your daily attitude to be thankful for every single thing in your life. Give thanks in all circumstances. Gratitude can transform your common days into thanksgiving. It is one of the hardest things to do but yet the most rewarding.  Being thankful is one of the fastest ways that life can attract happiness to you. It allows you to not forget the things you have for the things you want. If you challenge yourself for a whole day and just be thankful for absolutely everything in your life you'll see a big change in that day then the rest of the week. If you have nothing to be thankful for, check your pulse!  









In everything you do pursue happiness. Whatever you decide to do in life, make sure you make YOU Happy!
